School Arts Fest:Koyilandi and Kozhikode city neck and neck

The third day was more exciting for the audience.The heart throbbing nostalgic music of Natan Pattu stole the show.

Oppana and Margam Kali also attracted a large number of audience.

Winners in the Chenda Melam competition HS (Kozhikode St.Jospeh’s Boys HSS. Vysakh V.P and team made this victory by defeating the title of Koyilandy Boys HSS , the existing champion of the vent.

The rhythm of Thiruvathira and other dance forms mark the second day of the 56th Kozhikode district Keralotsavam at Koyilandi.Panchavadyam and Chendamelam created a festive mood at the venue.The public participation is comparatively low in the second day too.

Anusree.P of Koyilandi Govt.Girls Higher Secondary won first prize with A grade in girls’ mono act.

She presented the state of Seetha and Mandodari taken from the epic Ramayana.

She tried to connect the situation of contemporary situations of womanhood.

She is the daughter of Koyilandi Municipity councillor Lalisha and Suresh.She is a 9th standard student of Koyilandi Girls HSS.

Shinshina Fathas of PTMHS Kodiyathur,Mukkam won first prize in Arabic Monoact.

Priya Kaveri of Zamorins HSS bagged first prize in Sanskrit Akshsraslokam.
