State level Pattaya Mela on Sep 14

As part of the government’s policy of making land available to all landless people along with housing, 1,739 title deeds will be distributed in the district, on Tuesday at the state-level Pattaya Mela. The distribution is part of the state level Pattaya Mela being  inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Thrissur at 11.30 am on the occasion of the 100 day Action Paln of the state government. Revenue Minister K Rajan will preside over the function. About 13,500 title deeds will be distributed at the fair.

Kozhikode Taluk Pattaya Mela will be held at the  Collectorate Conference Hall and at the respective Taluk Conference Halls in Thamarassery, Koyilandy and Vadakara taluks as per Covid norms.

Between 2016 and 2021, the government issued 1.75 lakh title deeds to people who had been denied land ownership due to technical and legal issues. One of the most important objectives before this government is to issue licenses to all eligible people within the next five years.
Thottathil Raveendran MLA will preside over the district level program. Ministers AK Sasindran, Ahmed Devarkovil and PA Mohammad Riaz will be in charge of the distribution of the Title deeds.

Mayor Beena Philip, MPs MK Raghavan and K Muraleedharan, MLAs PTA Rahim and Dr MK. Muneer, TP Ramakrishnan, Kanathil Jameela, KP Kunhammadkutty Master, KK Rama, KM Sachindev, EK Vijayan, Linto Joseph, District Panchayat President Sheeja Sasi, Corporation Councilor MN Praveen will attend the function.

District Collector Dr.N. Tej Lohit Reddy, ADM C. Muhammad Rafeeq, Sub-Collector V. Chelsasini, Asst. Collector KR Mukund and Land Reforms Deputy Collector P Suresh will also be present.
