Governor Justice P. Sathasivam said universities should encourage students go beyond academic excellence.
He was delivering a speech on the occasion of distributing scholar awards at Kannur University on Saturday.
Universities are not showing much interest to take students out of the academic brilliance and showing their responsibility to reach out and realize the pulse of the society.
