Sunnis won’t allow women entry into mosques
Hundreds of Sunni volunteers attended Samastha Shariyat meet held at Muthalakkulam in Kozhikode on Saturday. During his inaugural speech Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama president Syed Jifri Muthukoya Thangal said religious faith should be protected.
Religious faith is maintained by scholars, not by politicians. Verdicts without considering the opinions of religious scholars would be defended,legally-he said.
Nobody need not bother about the entry of women in Sunni mosques. The age-old tradition was well-defined and the women’s entry was banned during the time of Muhammad Nabi.He added that Islamic Shariyat came into existence as to protect women’s rights.
