Teacher’s Day: Google dedicates a doodle

Teachers Day is being celebrated all over India today, paying respect to the great scholar and teacher
S.Radhakrishnan, who became India’s second president. Sept 5 has opened an occasion to express love and respect to teachers who are mentors and inspiring guides to many generations.
Good teachers motivate their students. They act as friends, and share knowledge. A learning channel is materialized with good communication and mutual trust with each other.
Google has created an animated doodle to mark this occasion in India.
Tagore’s quote on teachers:
Poet Rabindra Nath Tagore said;
“A teacher can never teach unless (s)he is learning herself (himself).
A lamp can never light another lamp unless it continues to burn its own flame.”
Various programs have been arranged to mark this occasion.
President Pranab Mukharjee will take class to students today.
In Kerala Chief Minister and ministers are also teaching school children on this occasion.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will teach students about life style diseases,alcoholism and drug abuse .
The class has been arranged at Govt.Attakkulangara Central School in Thiruvananthapuram.
Ministers Prof.Thomas Isaac,K.K.Shailaja teacher,K.T.Jaleel, Prof.C.Raveendranath,also will interact with students, there.On this
day,12,000 schools will celebrate Teachers’ day,said Education minister Prof.C.Raveendranth.
The CM will give away prizes for best teachers.
