Teachers should improve communication skill-VC

 ‘Teachers should improve their language skill,for delivering knowledge, effectively’-said Calicut University Vice Chancellor Dr.Khadar Mangad.

He was inaugurating National Teachers Day celebrations on the occasion of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad’s birth day.

He further said that students those who acquire skill during their college days get best job opportunity .Curriculum should be reformed considering this reality-he said.

He pointed out Kannur Universities’ course design MSc. Food Technology.,giving equal importance to theory and practical.

Human beings are most depending beings .So,it is better to be self- reliant in early age itself.The youth should concentrate on this.Rich students in foreign countries are working to improve their skill.We should take this model.Teachers should try to expand their horizon of knowledge continuously.

Education department head Dr.Abdul Gafoor presided over the function.Dr.A.Hameed,Ashokan Nochad,Dr.M.A.Sudheer,K.V.Manoj took part in the program.The program was jointly organized by the department of education and alumni association.Prof.P.Kelu wqas the moderator in the follow up panel discussion on Teacher-Education-Curriculum-Frame work,challenges and opportunities.Dr.P.K.Aruna,Prof.C.Naseema,Prof.C.N.Balakrishnan Nambiar,Abdul Salam,Dr.C.M.Bindu participated.
