UDF has favorable condition-Minister Dr.M.K.Muneer

Minister for Social Justice and Panchayaths Dr.M.K.Muneer said on Sunday that the United Democratic Front government has favorable condition thanks to its implementation of multy-level development projects.

He was addressing a special press conference at Kozhikode Sree Narayana Centennary Hall premise.

Vizhinjam port, Kochi metro rail, Kannur Airport, Smart city are some of the successful projects of the UDF ministry.

Kozhikode’s Info park will be completed soon.In 400 days the government could complete the construction of 100 bridges. Kozhikopde by pass is another feather on the cap of the development.

The budget has allotted free ration rice to the poor people. Ashraya project has entered into second stage.

The Social justice department has spent 100% fund within the time frame.

The department spent around 98% of fund this year too.

The government has sanctioned Rs.250 crore for the Kozhikode light metro project.

Meenchantha mobility hub

A mobility hub to be be built at Meenchantha to avoid traffic blockade. In the initial stage,road widening between Mananchira -Kallai-Meenchantha to be completed. Land acquisition is a hurdle to this project.A wide area to be acquired at Meenchantha for this project.

Party will decide on my candidature

The minister said he was not yet decided to contest in the coming election. All such matters are to be decided by his party,the Indian Union Muslim League.
