Online registration for graduate admission to colleges under Calicut University has started. Applications can be submitted online until 5pm on August 16th. Application fee: General Rs. 280 / – SC / ST Rs. 115
In order to get the CAP ID and password on the mobile in the first stage of online application submission, the applicants have to provide their basic information at the link http://admission.uoc.ac.in/ug/ -> Apply Now. Mobile number OTP to avoid missing CAP ID and security key. Verification has been implemented. Students are required to provide only their or their parent’s mobile number during online registration.
The application should be completed by logging in with the CAP ID and password received on the mobile / email. The registration fee has to be paid at the end of the application. Before clicking on the Final Submit & Pay button, you need to verify that the information provided in the application is correct. The application will be completed only after re-login and take a printout of the application.
Graduate Admission:Things to remember
All students seeking admission (General, Management, Community Quota, Sports, Disabled, Various Reserved categories) must register online.
Those who want admission in management and sports quotas should apply to the colleges where admission is sought in addition to online registration.
Those who are eligible for admission in the community quota will be considered for the eligible community quota in the aided colleges which are among the 20 college options of their choice. The list of colleges eligible for each community is available on the website.
Marks given during online registration, NSS, NCC Etc. Weightage, non-creamy layer and reservation information should be ensured to be accurate.
Only those who are financially backward in the frontier communities are eligible for EWS reservation.
Up to 20 options can be given for online registration. Students in courses in Govt., Aided and Self-financing Colleges should submit the most interested / desired options in order of preference.
Fees for self financing courses will be different from the fees for aided / government courses.
After the final submission of applications, all corrections up to the last date of online registration should apply to the Nodal Centers operating in the various affiliated colleges under Calicut University or to the Support Center menu on the home page of the Graduate Registration.
There will be no online allotment for admission of differently abled. The rank list of those registered in this category will be given to the respective college and the college will admit the students from the said rank list.
The printout of the online application need not be sent to the university or college. The printout of the application along with other supporting documents should be submitted to the respective colleges at the time of admission.
