V.V Dakshinamoorthy is dead
Communist Party of india (Marxist) leader and Deshabhimany former editor V.V.Dakshinamoorthy passed away in Kozhikode on Wednesday.
He wsa 81.
He is survived by his wife Nalini (retired teacher) and children Mini (teacher), Ajaya Kumar (JDT Islam Polytechnic) and R.Prasad (Unit Manager,Deshbhimani,Malappuram)
Moorthy was elected to Kerala assembly from Permabra constituency in 1965,67 and 80.

Transport minister A.K.Saseendran in his condolence message said,
“Lost a ideal communist leader and spokesperson of communist ideology.
He followed communists ideology through out his life.His articles in Deshabhimani during his tenure as the editor were thought-provoking.”
