Vedic IAS Academy launches scholarship program

Vedic IAS Academy has launched its Vedic Erudite Scholarship Program in Malabar with the aim of supporting IAS aspirants in the region.
Transport Minister AK Sasindran inaugurated the program at a function held at Parambil Bazaar Alba Auditorium in Kozhikode.
“ Civil Service is not an impossible task as many think. We need to mold socially responsible and efficient people in this field.He lauded the Academy’s initiatives to find out talented students among economically weaker segments . He also suggested that students must learn beyond their academics and reach new horizons of knowledge.
The Scholarship is aimed at gifted students among financially backward sections.The students are selected from each school as part of the One School One IAS concept. Simon Tharakan, Vice President, Marketing, Vedic IAS Academy, said that the project aims to provide free IAS training to them from Class VIII onward and will continue until the age of 32,the maximum age limit to write the Civil Services Exam.
Vijaya Marketing Pvt. Ltd. Managing Partner Jayanthi Ramesh handed over the check to Sumayya, a ninth class student who was selected for the scholarship from High School.
Shameera Buhari, Director, Thamarassery Off-Campus Center, Kozhikode, Vedic IAS Academy, District Panchayat Member E. Shashindran presided over the function. Vijaya Marketing Partner Vidya, Block Panchayat Member N. Jayaprakash, former president of Kuruvattooru Grama Panchayat P. Appukuttan, Grama Panchayat member Somnathan, Parampil Govt. High School PTA President Manoj Kumar also spoke.
Govt. High School Principal Deepa MR welcomed and Vedic IAS Academy Business Development Executive MP Noushad expressed vote of thanks.
