Vocational expo leads to new thoughts

When art ,creativity,imagination and science blended together,the Vocational expo turned to be an insightful experience for both students and public.The vocational expo as part of the Kerala State Science Fair  held at  Govt.Model Higher Secondary School,Mananchira.

Munavar Sulthana and Ayisha Nasreen (both studying for plus two at Kuttichira Govt.Higher Secondary School,Kozhikode) said that they wanted to make people aware of the recent dental technology.So,they presented a stall with newest themes and matters related to dental health.They provide very useful information to the visitors regarding dental hygiene, root canal methods, and many modern dental treatment option etc.

Many tips for maintaining oral hygienic also have been displayed in their stall.

“We focus on our curriculum based learning and we are giving thrust to explain what we have learned in theory and practical to the public. We are updating latest technology and inventions in the modern dentistry”say Sulthana and Ayisha.

 

Ismail PK and Muhammad Bilal BS from Orumanayoor IV HSS,Chavakkad,Thrissur

took part in the Vocational Expo after securing second place in the Thrissur district Science fair.

Their stall looks amazing with the handicraft wonder they have created by using waste paper, invitation cards and other paper materials along with coconut leaf stick (eerkil).

They have built a beautiful house by using paper and wedding invitation cards.

And a display board competes with any modern divider boards used in offices.

“It took eight full days to make this board.”-Muhammad and Ismail explain the method of folding and arranging papers with proper use of color and contrasts.

It is an inherited skill Muhammad got from his uncle.He took his friend and neighbor Ismail for making his dream crafts into reality.Ismail is studying for plus two while Muhammad is a plus one student.Both are pursuing Computerized Office Management.

They show an easy way to make wonders from paper waste.

“Now we are concentrating only on  exhibitions.And,not yet started sale.” say these friends.
