M.T.Vasudevan Nair said that journalists should be alert to glorify Malayalam language in its use and style. He was interacting with editors at the Kerala Lalita Kala Academy Hall in Kozhikode on Tuesday .
“Editors can do it if they try to improve the usage of Malayalam language. Our language has its own identity and nobility. Newspapers and media organisations should maintain the standard use of language. Common people’s language usage have been significantly influenced by newspapers. So,it is very important to improve it”-M.T.said.
“I have some themes and ideas to write.If time and health allow,I will do it. However, I don’t have any haste or anxiety on that.”
“I have been the product of an agriculture community.”-he said.
